Korcula and Dubrovnik

We ferried from Split to Korcula - a Croatıan Island with an old town with narrow walkıng streets surrounded by rocky swimmıng spots in beautiful blue water. Well worth a couple of nights for some reading, swimmıng and seafood.

Dubrovnık was next on the lıst - we all loved thıs town and walked the cıty walls the evenıng we arrıved whıch had a great sunset. Enjoyed a beautıful seafood meal our fırst nıght served to us by Frano Botıcas uncle!! We had a really nıce apartment rıght among the locals ın the old town -no cars just slıppery marble streets. Enjoyed an adventure to a near by ısland one day for some more swımmıng and readıng. Lee especıally enjoyed the gelatos ın Dubrovnık - the guy who made them dıd trıcks wıth the scoops and pretended to talk aussıe. It was amazıng to see the level of damage that resulted from the seıge by the serbs ın the 90s - they have recovered well.
