Well its seems like a long time ago since our trip to Morocco. We headed there in mid Febraury before our trip home for Nicky and Ben's wedding. We did a 15 day Travel Talk tour as we decided we didn't have the time it takes to plan a trip independently. This was our first tour holiday and it was a bit of a shock to the system. Our group consisted of 40 people the first week (double the size i had anticipated) and then 18 for the last week. Definitely had its benefits like meeting new people and having trips planned. Down side- trying to fit 40 people through the narrow alleyways of Fez and being taken to expensive factory shops where the guide gets commission.
We did however love Morocco. Its a great country full of contrasts and colour, barren dessert landscapes with pockets of lush oasis, vibrant colours (spices, fabrics, ceramics) and beautiful architecture. The people were friendly and the food tasty - what more could you want.
Below are just a few of the highlights from our trip
